History:
- The Globe theatre was originally built in the year of 1599.
- It faced a disaster when during a performance of Henry the VIII, a cannon set fire to the roof and burnt the theatre down. It was during 1613.
- It was rebuilt the following year in 1614.
- Soon enough after Shakespeare’s death, the Puritans shut down the theatre since they were in power during the year of 1642.
